i have never been to these places before
i have made it across this world
but i have never been to these type of towns
load in and sound check
our dressing room is a toilet
the people are good and i don't hate them
good tunes before we go on
play 6 songs really well
lot of cool noise
there is a pit right from the start
and it doesn't stop till the last bit of noise
talk to some people before heading down the tunnel
mark is bleeding
not just bleeding like oh mark is bleeding
more like shit mark is bleeding
after wiping out his kit
he leaves the stage head first right into a slab off concrete
he looks like shit and kinda scared
he goes back out to tell the kids there that we have cd's for sale
they avoid him like they owe him money
we say thanks and promise to come back
i mean it this time
we head for an A&E to get mark sewn up
we get stopped by the police for jumping red lights
they take a look at mark and send us on our way
they were laughing
they knew we were a band
they knew mark was a drummer
we wait for 4 hours
me and dot figure we have to kill mark
he has lost us a nights sleep
we hit home at 7am
unload the van walk back from the rental place
i go to the studio and start the day working on artwork
i need time to breath
i gotta learn to smile
