Hey, please see below the guidelines for submitting sessions to schizoacoustic for mixdown at RokitpowR studio.
RokitpowR uses a Digidesign Pro Tools|24MIX rig running Pro Tools v6.4.1cs4 & therefore has certain specific requirements...
Audio Files:
Mono & multi mono files only, no stereo interleaved files
AIFF, BWF & SDII file formats are all supported
24 bit (Pro Tools cannot import both 24 bit & 16 bit files in to the same session)
48KHz maximum sampling rate
Work Flow:
All audio regions/comps in each 'mixer track' should be consolidated in to individual single or multi mono files, with a global start timestamp at 00:00 for perfect alignment
No effects or processes should be printed to disk, with the exception of guitar/bass amp sims if these were used during tracking
All consolidated audio file's filenames should be labeled with as much detail as possible e.g. group_instrument(number)_section_mic_phase.extension
(if the mic pre had phase inverted please use a Φ symbol to indicate this)
The audio files folder, can supplied on either DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM or it can be zipped & uploaded to our sever
Example file set:
drums_kick_akgd112_Φ.aiff
drums_snare_sm57_Φ.aiff
